The South Australian Salaried Medical Officers Association is pleased to announce a new event for doctors who are contemplating retirement, called Taking the First Step: Preparing for life after work.
 
This is a unique event tailored specifically for the medical profession, where you will get a range of information in one place that you simply won’t find anywhere else.
 
It will of course cover some of the necessary financial and legal stuff, with experts on hand to answer questions, but the main focus will be on options for what comes next. 
 
Hear from a range of professionals who have lived experience of having taken the first steps out of all-consuming full-time work and into the surprising and satisfying next stages of their lives.
 
The event will be on Saturday 13 August 2022 from 9am – 4pm at the Highway Hotel, Anzac Highway, Plympton.
 
It is FREE for SASMOA members and $153 for non-members.
 
Places are limited to 70 and registration is essential.
